Who else here misses their PlayStation? And I'm not talking about the PS2 or the PS3, I'm talking about THE PlayStation...
For the nOObs who don't know what the original PlayStation is, but of course all of you guys know since you're all fuckin' awesome! |
Seriously, I miss being a carefree kid playing Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Tekken, and all the other games that were awesome for the PlayStation!
List of awesome games for the PS
Resident Evil (nuff said)
Crash Bandicoot (Spinning and not getting dizzy... Crash is the man)
Spyro The Dragon (a purple dragon saving dragons 10X his size, badass)
Bloody Roar (turning into animals and kicking ass... even as a rabbit!)
Tekken 3 (kicking ass as a BEAR! OH HELL YEA!)
Road Rash (kicking people off bikes: *jizz*)
Tomb Raider (she's fuckin' hot and jumps twice her height!)
Gran Turismo (Who ever got all the licences? I didn't :'(
Tony Hawk Pro Skater (720 hardflips are impossible? Not in this game!)
Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night (Explore your father's castle and killing him, you need balls for that!)
WWF Smackdown! (Swantons from the top of Hell in the Cell is unforgettable)
Syphon Filther (My first action packed game and there's no sequel on the PS3!!! WTF!)
Ape Escape (Who ever thought capturing monkeys in time and space would be so much fun???)
Dino Crisis (Resident Evil with dinos... were the hell is the sequel with RE4 mechanics?!)
And who could forget... Metal Gear Solid. Yes, Metal Gear Solid, the greatest game of all time!!! (in my opinion). This game had everything, the perfect story, perfect action, perfect plot, characters, setting... everything was perfect in this epic game! Who could forget running around in a cardboard box, choking the shit out of the dumbass guards, and putting your controller in port 2 to kill Psycho Mantis! Till this day I still play Metal Gear and I never get tired of it. It serves as my dose of nostalgia and I love it!
Solid Snake > Chuck Norris... just sayin' |
Damn, MGS is my favorite game of all time....I even freaked out when playing MGS4 and there was a small segment from the beginning of MGS. Too Epic!
ReplyDeleteYea man I almost started crying when I played that part and exploring Shadow Moses was awesome, especially putting the Hanger theme on in the iPod Snake carries :')
